At CoachingBoards.com we specialize in planning, designing, and printing high quality coaching boards for all sports. Our custom coaching boards take a play off of our regular boards but we add some personalization to them such as team names, logos, player line-ups, coach names, etc. No matter the sport, we are able to create a coaching board specifically for your team that will help you reach the next level this season.

Daily commitment to operations:

• Production time 4 to 6 hours per week on standard orders
• Production for custom orders average 2 to 3 hours per order (1 or 2 times per month)

Production:

• Printing – Using a small UV flatbed printer
• Lamination – Dry Erase lamination using a 27” roll laminator
• Cutting – Cutting to finished size and shape using a Laser Cutter
• Packaging – Shrink wrap and boxed for shipping

Supply chain (ordering of materials):

• Substrate for boards can be ordered from any local plastics supplier
• All other production products can be acquired on-line through a large selection of vendors such as Amazon, U-Line, or more specific based on equipment. All information will be passed along to the buyer with ordering details and pricing.

Custom Orders:

• Positioning of logos and layout for print are required. Templates have been created and the process takes 15 min to 20 min (Charge to customer is $45.)
• Once customer has approved final proofs the production steps shown above are followed.

A small inventory is produced of our most popular sellers making fulfilment quick and easy on most orders. When less popular products are ordered they are produced on demand. For the past 2 years I have been operating production after hours in the evenings and weekends when required.

Customer base and Marketing:

•  All Sports – Volunteer and paid Coaches, Sports associations, Schools, and Colleges.
• Types of sales – Individual sales to coaches (ranging from $65 to $165) up to large custom orders for associations (ranging from $$500 to $1500)
•  Marketing – Pre-Pandemic: Direct mail to associations by gathering emails from websites. Post-Pandemic: A combination of consistent social media posts and direct mail to associations contacts.
•        1500+ subscribers to our Shopify newsletter, this brings back repeat customers.

• Potential for growth is limitless. We have only scrapped the surface in connecting with potential clients.
• USA markets have been untouched other than those that find us through organic searches.
•  We have only focused on Canadian markets such as Hockey, Ringette and Box Lacrosse.

Unfortunately, the governments shut down sports and we felt the effect of that. This takes us to 2023 and it looks to be a very promising year with steady growth.
